Abstract
A case of cutaneous leishmaniasis which clinically resembled the atypical form "infiltrees en nappes" of Photinos (1930) was described. Subsequent biopsy of the lesion was performed more than 1 yr after its onset and after a full course of stibogluconate sodium; multiple organisms were present in multinucleated giant cells and in histiocytes. Electrodesiccation and curettage of the lesion resulted in complete healing with minimal scarring. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
