Abstract
The median duration of low-temperature treatment required by the eggs of G. commodus in order that they may develop and hatch without interruption due to diapause was least at 12.7C., slightly longer or about the same at 15.9C., and considerably longer at 1O.3C. At S.5C. it was not found possible to obtain 50 per cent. of the eggs free from diapause.
