Three children demonstrating gastric rugal enlargement as their primary disease are reported. Two had the histologic features of Menetrier’s disease and in 1 of these patients cytomegalic inclusion bodies were found in the gastric wall. The third patient had histology consistent with angioneurotic edema. Some other diseases showing similar roentgenologic appearances are demonstrated and discussed.
