Abstract
Review of the theory in relationship to ionized helium:—From the results of previous workers it is shown that the theoretical values for the average life of energy levels of ionized helium are 1/16th as long as the life-time of the same levels of hydrogen. A table of average lives for ionized helium is given which shows that the average life becomes progressively greater for higher quantum states.Keywords
