Experimental and Theoretical Investigations of the NMR Line Shapes of LiF and NaF Single Crystals

Abstract

Experimental cw line shapes have been obtained for ${\mathrm{Li}}^7$, ${\mathrm{Na}}^{23}$, and ${\mathrm{F}}^{19}$ nuclei in NaF and LiF single crystals, and compared with several line-shape theories. A new line-shape theory is described which gives better results than previous ones for these two crystal systems.
