Abstract
The history of nematodes responsible for human anisakiasis spans almost 500 yr. Knowledge of this group parallels the advancement of research from visual observation through development and refinement of the microscope and advancement of technology to newer research tools, such as EM. [Gordius marinus, Ascaris decipiens, A. lumbricoides, Phocanema decipiens, Porrocaecum, Terranova, Anisakis and Contracaecum in humans and other vertebrates are mentioned.].This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
