Abstract
Two women with systemic lupus erythematosus who showed premenstrual flaring of the disease were treated with danazol, which resulted in clinical improvement. This form of treatment needs to be assessed more widely, as there is little reported evidence that hormonal regulation has therapeutic value in systemic lupus erythematosus. Keywords
