Congenital Pyloric Atresia

Abstract
To the Editor.—The report by Tan and Murugasu1 of congenital pyloric atresia in siblings is the sixth family, not the first, in the literature. One2 of the other four reports2-5 was published in your journal. Contrary to the statement of Tan and Murugasu listing only 17 cases of pyloric or prepyloric atresia in the world literature, there are at least 51 cases of familial and nonfamilial pyloric atresia4 and the addition of three recent reports1,5,6 adding eight more cases, makes the total 59.
