Nuclear Magnetic Relaxation in Nearly Ferromagnetic YCo2

Abstract
The Knight shift, K , and the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time, T 1 , of 59 Co have been measured in an exchange-enhanced Pauli paramagnet YCo 2 ·1/( T 1 T ) d has been found to be proportional to χ d , which is in good accord with the prediction from the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations in weakly or nearly ferromagnetic metals.
