Variance asymptotique des estimateurs en régression non linéaire

Abstract
General results on the asymptotic distribution of the estimators and the assumptions required to ensure their validity are discussed within the context of nonlinear regression. A nonlinear model frequently used in forestry for describing the relations between various tree or stand features (in forest mensuration) illustrates the application of the results. Finally, the statistical inference related to the nonlinear model is demonstrated by means of a numerical example using a sample of 622 black spruce trees.
