Abstract
An oscillatory exchange of atoms governed by the phases of the ‘‘macroscopic wave functions’’ between two traps containing Bose condensates, as might be realized with laser cooling and trapping is predicted. The discussion exploits analogs from lasers and the Josephson junction.Keywords
