Abstract
The incidence of different types of coliform bacilli in cases of urinary infection was studied. In cases of primary urinary infection, Escheri-chia coli was the predominant organism; in cases secondary to urinary obstruction Aerobacter aerogenes, Proteus vulgaris and P. morgani were most commonly found. All types of organism were sensitive to streptomycin. E. coli was sensitive to sul-fonamide and penicillin, P. vulgaris was sensitive to penicillin, but P. morgani and A. aerogenes were insensitive to penicillin and sulfonamide. Keywords
