Abstract
We report on the effect of the spatial inhomogeneity of the assisting infrared radiation on the two-frequency photodetachment of . We find that the curves showing the photodetachment cross section as a function of the frequency change their slope at a frequency which depends on the degree of the spatial inhomogeneity of the infrared illumination.
