Abstract
The spleen behaves as an integral part of the vascular system: 1, blood is stored or discharged according to circulatory demand, and 2, at the same time circulating blood is allowed to pass through the spleen at a rate determined by circulatory activity.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
