Prediction of lime responses in white clover: a note

Abstract

Ten different tests were evaluated for their suitability to predict lime responses of white clover grown in pots. Of the 23 soils used, most came from lime experiments on mixed grass-clover pasture, so that pot results could be corrected for field results. The titratable acidity displaced by 0.0085M CaC1₂ predicted lime responses more accurately than other tests.
