On Raman evidence for conformational order in liquid n-alkanes

Abstract
The Raman spectra of neat n‐hexadecane and of n‐hexadecane in dilute solutions in CCl4 and n‐C16D34 are reported. From these measurements, chain order in the liquid alkanes is inferred. (AIP)Keywords
