Theory of Solid Helium

Abstract
Cohesive energy of solid helium for both isotopes at absolute temperature zero is computed by a new self-consistent method. The method contains no adjustable parameters. The calculate (experimental) value of cohesive energy at melting volume in unit of calorie per mole is −1.30 (−1.14) for helium three and −10.44 (−11.87) for helium four.
