Abstract
20 dogs were maintained in a state of hypoglycemia by the admn. of commercial protamine Zn insulin so as to lower the fasting blood sugar level to 50 mg.% or less. These animals were divided into 2 equal groups. One group was subjected to pancreatectomy. Half the animals of each group developed peptic ulcers.Keywords
