Study of the Reactionπ+n→π0π0pat 2.15 BeV/c

Abstract
We report on an experimental study of the reaction π+dπ0π0pp at 2.15 BeV/c for |t|<10μ2, with emphasis on the measurement of the absolute 2π0 cross section. A direct comparison with π+π production at the same energy is made. In addition, comparison with the analysis of Malamud and Schlein provides support for the one-pion-exchange model as well as support for a large T=0, l=0 ππ phase shift in the ρ mass region.
