Abstract
The DuBridge variation of the Fowler theory of photoelectric emission was utilized to determine the work function of the borides of La, Pr, and Nd. The work functions of LaB6, PrB6, and NdB6 were found to be 2.74 ev, 3.12 ev, and 4.57 ev, respectively. Keywords
