Modern Radiology in the Operating Room

Abstract
This is an exposition of the modern advances in x-ray generators and tubes, image amplifiers, television and roll-film cameras, electronic image storage and display devices, and x-ray tables. There is a large gap between the services offered by these advances and their application to most operating room suites. Specific recommendations are made for equipment for small and large hospitals with specific illustrations and their surgical applications. The authors maintain that, despite the cost of the equipment, considerable savings can be realized from improved and more rapid services.
