Abstract
The agent of feline pneumonitis can be distinguished from all the other agents of the lymphogranuloma-psittacosis group by means of its tropisms, lack of susceptibility to sulfonamides and the specificity of its toxin. Infections in mice with this agent were established by the intraven., intraperit., intranasal, and intracerebral routes. Toxin produced by this agent in heavily infected yolk sacs was neutralized only by homologous antiserum. The pathological findings in mice killed by toxin or by infection with this agent differed from those obtained with any other agent in this group. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
