Abstract
Allergic contact dermatitis to the rubber antioxidant N-isopropyl-N-phenylparaphenylenediamine (IPPD) occurred in a patient. His vesicular dermatitis of the hands occurred with each washing of his Volkswagen. With automation, allergic contact dermatitis to IPPD has not been a problem to tire factory workers, but can be a problem to consumers using these rubber products.
