Abstract
The yeast flora associated with the surface of strawberries has been studied on the assumption that individual cells are firmly embedded in gummy fruit-secretions. New techniques based on vigorous shaking or sonication of samples allowed the recovery of many yeast species normally not obtained previously with the traditional isolation procedures. Keywords
