Abstract
The possibility of accumulative dust injury to soils adjoining a gypsum plant was investigated. No injury to oats, corn or soybeans growing on soil which had received heavy deposits of gypsum dust over a period of years was obtained from additional gypsum at the rate of 100,000 lbs. an acre. With oats, a 4.8% gain from the gypsum application was significant at the 5% level.
