Abstract
The magnetic form factor of in the compound Tb has been measured with polarized neutrons. The experiment was performed on a single crystal in the ferromagnetically ordered state (8.9/Tb) at 2.6 °K. The theoretical form factor, calculated from a fully relativistic mixed-configuration solution of the Dirac-Fock equations, is found to be in excellent agreement with experiment.
