Immune Response to Blood Group a Substance

Abstract
A group of 11 persons were inoculated subcutaneously with 1.0 ml. of A substance. Their anti-A response was measured and compared to the values given by the preimmunization specimens in a variety of serologic procedures. Consideration of the sensitivity levels of these procedures does not favor the current division of the isoantibodies into "natural and "immune" forms on the basis of differential serologic behavior.[long dash]Authors.
