Abstract
Percutaneous puncture of the left ventricle was performed in the course of 226 hemodynamic studies in 202 patients with congenital or acquired heart disease. No deaths occurred but significant complications were observed after 14 of the procedures. The technique of left ventricular puncture is described and the relative advantages and disadvantages of this method of left heart catheterization are discussed. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
