Abstract
• 2′-O-glycylacyclovir, a water-soluble ester derivative of acyclovir, has proved efficacious in the topical treatment of epithelial and stromal herpes simplex keratitis, and iritis therewith associated, when administered as a 1% eyedrop formulation to rabbits.Keywords
