Abstract
We have carried out a Monte Carlo study of anisotropic 3D uniformly frustrated XY models, as a model for the type-II high- superconductors. Vortex-line-lattice melting, vortex-line cutting, and entanglement have been studied in relation to the superconducting phase transition.
