Abstract
A synthetic diet on which green peach aphid, Myzus persicae (Sulzer), was reared for 30 successive generations has supported, to date, 25 generations of bean aphid, Aphis fabae Scopoli. As with the green peach aphid, continued growth of the bean aphid depended crucially upon the provision in the diet of a mixture of the trace metals iron, zinc, manganese, and copper. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
