Abstract
Antibodies specific to 5-hydroxytryptamine (5HT) were produced in rabbits by immunization with 5HT-protein conjugates, which had been synthesized by coupling about 30 residues of 5HT per molecule of bovine serum albumin using the Mannich formaldehyde reaction. These antibodies had the capacity of combining in vitro and in vivo with 5HT and of inhibiting the cutaneous reactions in mice evoked by the intradermal injections of 5HT.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
