Further Evidence for the Non-Immunoglobulin Nature of the Bacterial Aggregating Factor in Saliva

Abstract
A factor that aggregated Streptococcus sanguis was present in 2 fractions of human saliva. The high MW factor was devoid of immunoglobulin (Ig) activity. The aggregating activity in the smaller MW fraction was not caused by IgA.
