Abstract
In the pyrochlore compounds Ru2M2O7 (where M=Pr, Nd, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, and Y), RuIV contributes to the Curie constant 1 instead of the value 3 which would be expected for a d4 state with g=2 and j=2.Keywords
