Nuclear Lifetime andgFactor of the19/2−Isomeric State inSc43

Abstract
The lifetime and the g factor of the 19/2 three-quasiparticle isomeric state |(νf72)6+2(πf72)|192 in Sc43 have been measured. Both the time-differential perturbed-angular-distribution and the stroboscopic-resonance methods were used in the g-factor determination. The results obtained are τ=0.65±0.02 μsec and g(192,Sc43)=+0.331±0.002. The g factor of the f72 proton, deduced from present results combined with the g factor of the 6+ state in Ca42, is discussed.
