Abstract
Presentation of CaseA fifty-three-year-old housewife was admitted to the hospital because of a "collapsed lung."Seven months previously the patient had a dry, hacking cough associated with an acute chill. Subsequently, she noticed some wheezing in the chest. Three weeks before entry x-ray films of the chest were said to show a collapsed lung. There was no hemoptysis, fever, chest pain or shortness of breath.Ten years previously a radical mastectomy was performed at another hospital for a "grapefruit-sized" adenocarcinoma of the left breast. Postoperative irradiation was given to the left side of the chest and axilla as well . . .
