Erythrocyte Catalase in Inbred Mice

Abstract

Erythrocyte catalase activity in 18 inbred strains of mice ranged from 9.9 to 35.5 U/ml red blood cells/sec. Inbred strain and sex were shown to be the major factors determining the catalase activity level.
