The spectrum of H 2 . The bands ending on 2 p 3 Π levels. Part III

Abstract
1. The Band Lines which go down to 2p 3Π from the 4d3 Complex. This paper is an immediate continuation of Part Π which described the band systems whose lower levels were 2p 3Πab and whose upper levels were 3d 3Σg, 3d 3Πb, 3d 3Πa, and 3s 3Σg. In the present paper (Part III) we start by describing the band systems which end on 2p 3Πab and come from 4d 3Σg, 4d 3Πb, 4d 3Πa. and 4d 3Δb. After that we consider the properties and constants of all the various levels 2p 3Πab, 3d 3Σg, 3d 3Πb, 3d 3Πa, 3d 33d3Δb, 3d 3Δa, 4dg, 4d 3Πb, 4d 3Πa, and 4d 3Δb. Most of these constants are worked out from the Appendix, in which the energy levels and the intensities in the bands are shown to be in good agreement with the wave mechanics.
