Abstract
Maintenance of Oncomelania spp., which have been experimentally exposed to miracidia, in miniature aquaterraria is described. This method affords easy observation of snails and collection of pertinent data regarding the infection. A method of impregnating paper toweling with an alginate food preparation is described. The food impregnated paper strips provide a method of feeding which serves for both young and adult snails and serves as a method of collection of young snails, and makes for a rapid assessment of the condition of the colony. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
