A Method for the Determination of the Specific Gravity or Density of Small Volumes of Liquids and Small Solid Objects

Abstract

A method is presented using a "fused-on cell" microscope slide, for the measurement of S. G. of small volumes of liquids (about 0.4 ml) and small objects. A further technique is described, using a similar apparatus made from perspex, for the determination of solid material of any shape or size.
