Through propagation in selected agglutinating serums, certain cultures of Salmonella were induced to change their nonspecific phases. Among those changed were S. newport, S. thompson, S. panama, S. oregon, S. vejle, S. kottbus, S. javiana, S. Zanzibar, S. Uganda, S. solt and S. shangani.
