Abstract
The study's aim was to evaluate the hypothesis that the Survey of Ethical Attitudes by Hogan was actually a measure of liberal-conservative attitude. A sample of 81 men and women was administered the survey and measures of social attitude, dogmatism, and open-mindedness. A principal component analysis of scale intercorrelations confirmed the hypothesis and revealed the three dimensions postulated.Keywords
