Abstract
A method is described for the comprehensive screening and analysis of more than 80 basic compounds and metabolites in blood and other biological specimens. The method of Foerster and Mason using 1-chlorobutane as the extracting solvent with gas chromatographic analysis has been further developed and modified so that identification and quantitation of as little as 0.1 µg/ml of virtually all basic drugs in blood can be accomplished in approximately one and one-half hours. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
