Abstract
We discuss a model of a disordered superconducting film consisting of small loops with dead-end arms. de Gennes showed that the arms markedly increase the field at which the loop is driven normal. Our numerical solution of the Ginzburg-Landau equation shows the enhancement of the magnetic moment of the loop to be less remarkable. Keywords
