Abstract
The unimolecular equation generally describes the mortality of Bacterium coli in solutions of NaCl and CaCl2. Significant variations occur from the logarithmic curves. In certain cases, when the course of the reaction is not unimolecular, it may be similar to that of a higher order. The stimulating effects of low concentrations appear to be continuous, with the toxic effects of higher concentrations, and to exemplify a general biological law. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
