Abstract
X‐ray diffraction data on the liquid systems (BeF2)x(LiF)(1−x), with x = 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/5, and 0, are presented and analyzed to yield average nearest‐neighbor distances and coordination numbers. The values obtained for the melts are in good agreement with results derived from molecular dynamics calculations. Keywords
