Extramammary Paget’s Disease: Report of a Case

Abstract

A 55-year-old woman with carcinoma of the vulva and Paget''s disease of the vulvar skin forms the basis of this report. Review of acceptable reported cases of extra-mammary Paget''s disease establishes a clearly defined clinical and pathologic entity. Evidence was presented showing this rare disease to be usually an apocrine sweat gland carcinoma, with spread into the overlying epidermis.
