Some remarks on Adler's classical algebraic chromodynamics

Abstract

A simple method for constructing Adler's algebra with $N$ quark source charges is presented. As a byproduct one obtains some interesting properties of direct products of $\mathrm{U}\mathrm{}\left(n\right)\mathrm{}\lambda$ matrices. It is shown that already for $N=3\mathrm{}$ Adler's "trace" condition is not satisfied.
