Location of plucked (pk) on chromosome 18 of the mouse

Abstract

Plucked (pk), a recessive hair-type mutation in the mouse, has been assigned to chromosome 18 at a location between T_W and sy^tp. The Robertsonian translocation Rb(7.18)9Lub was found to suppress crossing over in the proximal half of this chromosome.
