Abstract
The cross section for the reaction was determined experimentally for incident deuterons in the energy range 5.6 to 28 MeV, using the stacked-foil technique. A theoretical confirmation was undertaken. The maximum in the cross section was found to lie between 14 and 15 MeV, with a value of 290 mb.
